Job Description
We are looking for a Translation Solutions Sales Manager to join us in tapping into potential client opportunities and generating new businesses in Singapore and nearby countries. You will be responsible for responding to inbound inquiries as well as blanketing your region with outbound activity. You will strategically approach target companies and teams, identify the best technology options and sell translation solutions for our potential clients. You will always act in the best interest of the client.
This job is an excellent opportunity for salespersons to make use of their skills in sales and negotiations, perform to their full potential and get generous commission from sales.
There is the prospect of getting responsibility for the entire APAC region.
Responsibilities:
• Develop sales in Singapore and nearby countries and pursuing new clients;
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the territory and document and distribute competitive information;
• Manage and develop relationships with large companies;• Identify new sales and marketing opportunities;
• Increase new sales, sign retainer translation contracts;
• Do cold calls and presentations, work with existing customers to increase wallet size;
• Seek out opportunities to be a sales leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve our financial objectives.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of relevant sales experience with c-suite/ top management levels;
• Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills;
• Proven ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment;
• Intellectual agility and curiosity. Self-motivation and high result-oriented individual with a track-record of sales of services or complex sales process;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Translation, localization, or language-service experience is a must;
• Additional languages are a bonus.
