Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Translator (English to Spanish language) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Translating all text from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Excellent proof reading, editing and copywriting skills.
- Responsible for writing creative content in Spanish for media related clients e.g. writing promotional articles and advertisements for Indonesian clients.
- Able to connect with the clients and interpret their conversation from one language to another. Also be able to interpret ideas and thoughts between conversations.
- Responsible for working closely with clients to make interpretation of the content to English while keeping up the original meaning of the source Spanish language and vice versa.
- Capable of changing composed materials from one language into another, for example, books, distributions, or site pages.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in both English and Spanish language so as to deal with clients.
- Proven work understanding as a Translator, Interpreter or comparative job.
- Aside from Spanish and English, fluent in one or more other languages is a plus.
- Experience in Legal, IT, Financial & Marketing industries for translation work is a plus.
- Degree in Linguistics/Languages, Communications, Multi-media, or Arts & Social Sciences.
- Distinction in GCE ‘O’ level English and Spanish (or higher qualifications) – in order to interpret Spanish / English documents.
