Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Korean Translator (English to Korean language) to join our
growing team of international professional translators.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working closely with clients to make an interpretation of the content to English while keeping up the original meaning of the source Korean language.
- Responsible for writing creative content e.g. writing promotional articles and advertisements for Korean clients.
- Translating all text from English to Korean and vice versa.
- Able to connect with the clients and interpret their conversation from one language to another. Also be able to interpret ideas and thoughts between conversations.
- Good with proof reading, editing and copywriting.
- Able to convert composed materials from one language into another, for example, books, distributions, or site pages.
Requirements:
- Someone with good verbal and written communication skills is required who can connect with Korean clients and respond to them.
- Proven work understanding as a Translator, Interpreter or comparative job.
- Aside from Korean and English, fluent in one or more other languages is a plus.
- Experience in Legal, IT, Financial & Marketing industries for translation work is a plus.
- Degree in Linguistics/Languages, Communications, Multi-media, or Arts & Social Sciences.
- Distinction in GCE ‘O’ level English and Korean (or higher qualifications) – in order to interpret Korean / English documents.
